Kyle Edmund through to Australian Open quarter-final
Kyle Edmund has qualified for his first Grand Slam quarter-final after a four-set victory over Andreas Seppi at the Australian Open.
The world number 49 beat the Italian 6-7 7-5 6-2 6-3 and will play Nick Kyrgios or Grigor Dimitrov.
Both teams held serve throughout the opener, with Edmund saving five break points in the eighth game, but Seppi prevailed 7-4 in the tiebreak to take the lead.
Edmund came from a break down to take the second set before a dominant third set paved the way to victory.
Seppi saved seven break points in the fourth set before Edmund finally broke in the eighth game to claim victory.
