Livingston will take a one-goal lead into the second leg of the Scottish Premiership play-off final after beating Partick Thistle 2-1.

Livi, who finished second in the Championship, needed to come from behind before Scott Pittman’s winner 16 minutes from time.

Kris Doolan had given Partick the lead in the 10th minute when he headed past Neil Alexander but Keaghan Jacobs levelled the score just three minutes later from the right of the area.

Livingston were the best team throughout the match and deservedly got the winner late on when Pittman turned in Josh Mullin’s cutback from close range.

The teams will meet again in Glasgow on Sunday.
