Wilson, Ibe on the mark as Bournemouth beat Arsenal

Bournemouth have risen to 13th in the Premier League table after a 2-1 win against out-of-form Arsenal.

Hector Bellerin gave the Gunners the lead in the 52nd minute, but goals from Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe secured the points for Bournemouth.

Arsenal, who have not won in their last three Premier League matches, should have been ahead inside the opening 10 minutes but Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ shot crashed into the crossbar from 12 yards.

Alex Iwobi came close just two minutes later but Asmir Begovic kept the ball out of the top corner.

Danny Welbeck was next to come close but his shot was saved before Shkodran Mustafi’s header went narrowly wide from close range.

Bournemouth turned the match around with two goals in the space of four minutes. First, Ryan Fraser found Wilson inside the area to equalise before Wilson turned provider for Jordon Ibe to volley past Petr Cech.

Granit Xhaka had a chance to level late on but send the ball over the crossbar.
