Leinster hammer Glasgow Warriors in Champions Cup

Leinster have beaten Glasgow Warriors 55-19 to maintain a perfect record in the European Rugby Champions Cup.

The Irish province crossed eight times and had their bonus-point victory wrapped up inside the first 34 minutes.

Jordi Murphy opened the scoring in the seventh minute before being sent to the sin-bin three minutes later.

Nikola Matawalu made the most of the man advantage when he touched down in the 16th minute but it was one-way traffic after that.

Isa Nacewa, Sean Cronin and Scott Fardy all crossed to secure Leinster’s bonus point before Jonny Sexton added a fifth on the stroke of half.

In the second half, Nacewa and Fardy added their second tries of the afternoon, with James Lowe also scoring.

Adam Ashe and Matawalu replied for Glasgow, who have slipped to a fifth loss in five in European competition.

Leinster’s win confirms their entry into the knockout stages as Group 3 winners.
