Super League Qualifiers: Widnes win, London and Featherstone draw

Widnes Vikings have beaten Halifax 36-12 to move up to fourth in the Super League Qualifiers table.

Tries from Chris Bridge, Lloyd White and Charly Runciman gave Widnes an 18-0 half-time lead.

Corey Thompson then crossed twice at the start of the second half before Ben Heaton pulled two converted tries back for Halifax.

Joe Mellor and Danny Craven added two more for Widnes late on to round off the victory.

Featherstone Rovers scored two tries in the last 10 minutes to rescue a 32-32 draw against London Broncos.

Broncos scored three tries in the opening 17 minutes with Jay Pitts, Elliot Kear and William Barthau.

Featherstone replied with four tries of their own through Connor Farrell, Luke Briscoe and two from John Davies.

Jarrod Sammut, Mark Ioane and Andy Ackers tries saw Broncos regain the lead but Briscoe and Chris Ulugia crossed for Featherstone to level late on.
