Second-placed Saracens thrashed bottom club London Irish 51-14 in the Aviva Premiership.

Six Sarries tries secured a bonus point to guarantee second place with one game remaining.

Tries from Brad Barritt and Duncan Taylor gave Saracens the lead before Joe Cokanasiga and Johnny Williams touched down for Irish.

Two Owen Farrell penalties gave Saracens a 16-14 half-time lead.

Saracens scored four second-half tries without reply to seal the bonus point. Michael Rhodes and Marcelo Bosch scored in quick succession at the start of the half before Richard Barrington and Andy Goode added two more late on.

London Irish’s relegation from the Aviva Premiership had already been confirmed following Worcester’s 44-12 win over Harlequins on Saturday.
