Premier League: Manchester United thrash Swansea City, Stoke City shock Arsenal
Manchester United have maintained their 100% record in the Premier League after a 4-0 win over Swansea City.
Jose Mourinho’s side, who beat West Ham United by the same scoreline last week, allowed just one shot on target.
Eric Bailly finished from close range to open the scoring before late goals from Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
Jese Rodriguez scored a debut goal to give Stoke City a 1-0 win against Arsenal.
Alexandre Lacazette had the ball in the net in the 73rd minute but the goal was controversially ruled out for offside.
West Bromwich Albion are the only other team with two wins from two matches.
Hal Robson-Kanu’s 71st-minute goal led them to a 1-0 win over Burnley.
A stoppage-time penalty gave Southampton a 3-2 win over West Ham.
Manolo Gabbiadini and Dusan Tadic gave the Saints a two-goal lead before Javier Hernandez netted twice to level the score.
Charlie Austin converted from 12 yards in the 93rd minute though to secure the points for Southampton.
Elsewhere, goals from Shinji Okazaki and Harry Maguire led Leicester City to a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion and Richarlison and Etienne Capoue scored as Watford beat Bournemouth.
Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the game with 17 minutes remaining for Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace.
