Glasgow Warriors finish on a high by beating Exeter Chiefs
Glasgow Warriors ended a five-game losing streak in the European Rugby Champions Cup by beating Exeter Chiefs 28-21.
Exeter needed a positive result to have a chance of progressing to the quarter-final as one of the three best runners-up.
The teams went in 7-7 at half time after Stuart Hogg’s opener was cancelled out by Sam Simmonds.
Glasgow pulled away in the second half though through a penalty try and scores from Tommy Seymour and Zander Fagerson.
Exeter did their best to mount a late comeback but Don Armand and Ian Whitten tries were not enough.
