West Bromwich Albion relegated from Premier League

West Bromwich Albion have been relegated from the Premier League after Southampton’s 1-0 win over Swansea City.

West Brom needed the teams to draw to have a chance of staying up on the last day of the season, but Manolo Gabbiadini’s winner sealed their fate.

The Midlands club staved off relegation by beating Tottenham on Saturday but still needed results to go their way.

West Brom had being going through a revival since Darren Moore came in as caretaker manager, and earned 14 points in six matches.

Speculation persists regarding next season’s manager, with Moore, Brentford’s Dean Smith and Bristol City’s Lee Johnson all linked with the job.
