Sir Alex Ferguson seriously ill in hospital
Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly been rushed to hospital and is in a serious condition.
It is believed that Ferguson was taken to hospital near his Cheshire home yesterday before being transferred to Salford Royal hospital today.

The former Manchester United manager’s son Darren Ferguson missed Doncaster Rovers’ match against Wigan Athletic this afternoon due to “family reasons”.
Sir Alex’s last public appearance was last weekend when he presented Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger with a gift at Old Trafford.
No further information is known at this time.
