Manchester United, Everton agree £75m Lukaku fee

Everton have accepted a £75m bid from Manchester United for star striker Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.

The deal means that United will now cool their interest in Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

Reports overnight suggested that Wayne Rooney could be offered in a part-exchange deal, but those talks are not part of the deal. The £75m fee is also well short of the £100m fee being reported in British newspapers this morning.

United hope that the deal can be concluded before the squad leave for a pre-season tour of the United States on Sunday.

The Belgian international signed for the Goodison Park club for a fee of £28m in 2014.
