World number one Ashleigh Barty has crashed out of Wimbledon after losing to world number 55 Alison Riske.

The Australian looked in control and took the opening set 6-3 in 32 minutes.

Riske was perfect on serve for the rest of the match though, and broke twice on the way to taking the second set 6-2.

The American’s form continued into the decider. After saving a break point midway through the set, she broke to make it 5-3 before serving out the match.

Riske will play Serena Williams or Carla Suarez Navarro in the quarter-final.
