Chelsea Ladies have beaten Arsenal 3-1 to win their second Women’s FA Cup at Wembley.

Ramona Bachmann scored twice before Vivianne Miedema pulled a goal back.

Fran Kirby added Chelsea’s third, though, with 14 minutes remaining to complete Chelsea’s dominant performance.

Both teams struggled to find their feet in the first half, with Kirby’s shot at Gunners keeper Sari Van Veenendaal coming close to scoring.

Ji So-Yun nearly gave the Blues the lead just before half-time but her shot went narrowly over.

Bachmann gave Chelsea the lead three minutes after the restart when she smashed the ball into the roof of the net after Kirby’s through ball.

It was Bachmann again on the hour mark, cutting in from the right before striking into the top corner.

Arsenal struck back when Beth Mead cut the ball back to Miedema to finish from eight yards.

It was game over soon after though when Kirby scored the best goal of the game by curling into the far corner from the edge of the area.
