Pakistan have beaten Scotland by 84 runs to win the Twenty20 series 2-0 in Edinburgh.

Just three days after Scotland’s historic ODI victory over England, they were out for 82 after Pakistan had set a target of 167.

Calum Macleod, who led Scotland with 140 not out against England, top-scored with 25 with Richie Berrington (20) and Safyaan Sharif (10) the only other players to hit double figures.

Faheem Ashraf’s incredible bowling figures of 3-5 decimated the Scotland attack, who survived for just 14.4 overs.

Earlier, Shoaib Malik hit an unbeaten 49 off just 22 balls and opener Fakhar Zaman hit 33 as Pakistan strolled to an easy victory.

Pakistan had also won the opening match on Tuesday by 48 runs.
