Premiership Rugby: Gloucester shock Exeter Chiefs

Gloucester have moved eight points clear of the bottom of the Premiership Rugby after a superb 34-18 win over second-placed Exeter Chiefs.

The result gives Bristol a chance to extend their lead at the top when they meet Harlequins on Saturday.

Exeter went in at half-time a point ahead but Gloucester scored 20 points in the second half to claim a crucial victory.

Henry Walker crossed twice for Gloucester in the first 40 minutes with Josh Hodge and Don Armand going over for Exeter.

Charlie Chapman’s 52nd-minute try regained the lead for Gloucester and a late penalty try was awarded to give Gloucester the bonus point.
