Premier League roundup: West Brom stay alive after stoppage-time winner

West Bromwich Albion have avoided relegation from the Premier League after a 1-0 win against Tottenham.

Darren Moore’s side needed to win their final two games to hold any chance of staying up and Jake Livermore struck deep into stoppage time to send the Hawthorns faithful wild.

Jay Rodriguez came close on the verge of half time and Ben Foster did well to keep out Harry Kane and Victor Wanyama chances early on.

Tottenham dominated the second half as they looked to secure Champions League football, but chances from Erik Lamela, Kane and Christian Eriksen went to waste.

With West Brom destined for the Championship, Livermore poked in at a corner in the 92nd minute to keep their hopes alive.

West Brom could still be relegated before the end of the day if Southampton beat Everton this evening.
