Petra Kvitova advances after win over Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino
World number eight Petra Kvitova is safely through to the third round of the French Open after a 6-0 6-4 win over qualifier Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino.
The 2012 semi-finalist raced to a one-set lead in just 24 minutes, conceding just 11 points.
The world number 91 improved in the second set, and saved two break points at 1-1.
The pair then shared breaks before Kvitova got the crucial third break of the set to love before serving the match out.
Kvitova will play Alexandra Dulgheru or 25th seed Anett Kontaveit in the third round.
