Nigeria defeat Tunisia to finish third in AFCON
Nigeria have finished third in the Africa Cup of Nations after beating Tunisia 1-0.
Odion Ighalo tapped in in the third minute to give Nigeria the win and give himself a chance of winning the Golden Boot with five goals.
Tunisia went close through Ferjani Sassi and Ghaylene Chaalali before Samuel Chukwueze and Samuel Kalu had chances to add a second Nigeria goal.
Nigeria last won the competition in 2013 while Tunisia’s last triumph came in 2004.
Senegal face Algeria in the final on Friday.
