Masters: Trump, Higgins move into semi-final
Judd Trump and John Higgins have qualified for the Masters semi-final after victories against Shaun Murphy and Ryan Day.
Trump went into a 4-2 lead over Murphy but breaks of 95 and 59 saw the 2015 champion level.
Two successive frames, with scores of 111 and 113, confirmed Trump’s place in the semi-final.
The world number three will play Kyren Wilson, who thrashed Mark Williams on Thursday.
Higgins eased into the semi-final with a 6-1 win over Welshman Day.
The Scot took the opener before Day levelled with a break of 83.
Higgins blitzed the next five frames though, high-scoring with a 113 in frame six, to set up a semi-final against world number eight Mark Allen.
