Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell isolating after Billy Gilmour positive Covid-19 test

Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell are isolating after having close contact with Chelsea teammate Billy Gilmour.

Gilmour returned a positive Covid-19 test on Monday and was seen interacting with Mount and Chilwell after Scotland’s draw with England on Friday evening.

The Scotland youngster was man of the match as Scotland earned an unlikely point at Wembley and Mount and Chilwell appeared to congratulate him on his performance after the final whistle.

Mount and Chilwell will be kept away from the rest of the England squad pending further consultation with Public Health England.

The entire England squad tested negative on Monday afternoon and it is not yet clear how long Mount and Chilwell will be required to isolate for.

England play their final Group D game against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
