Livingston are two games away from promotion to the Scottish Premiership after beating Dundee United 4-3 on aggregate.

After a 3-2 win in the play-off semi-final first leg, a 1-1 draw was enough for Livi to progress.

Alan Lithgow gave Livingston the lead in the sixth minute before Scott Fraser hit back to level the match on the night.

United put Livi under heavy pressure and goalkeeper Neil Alexander kept out five shots on target to ensure Livi’s progression.

They will play either Partick Thistle or Ross County over two legs next week for a place in next season’s Scottish Premiership.
