Jose Mourinho: “No chance” of David de Gea leaving
Jose Mourinho has said that David de Gea will not leave Manchester United this summer.
Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s game against Arsenal on Sunday, the Portuguese said that there was “no chance” that the stopper will be sold.
Speculation had persisted over the 27-year-old’s future, who was, once again, linked with a move to Real Madrid.
De Gea’s current contract expires in 2019, but United have the option to extend it to 2020.
The Spaniard has played 311 games for United since joining in 2011.
