Four-time world champion John Higgins has beaten Kyren Wilson 17-13 to reach his seventh World Snooker Championship final.

After taking a three-frame lead earlier in the week, Wilson hit back before Higgins claimed victory.

The pair came into the final session with Higgins leading 13-11 and Wilson immediately pulled a frame back with a 96 clearance.

Higgins restored the two-frame lead and took the score to 15-12 with a superb clearance of 136.

Wilson pulled one back but breaks of 100 and 98 saw Higgins claim victory.
