Hull FC have beaten Castleford Tigers 36-12 to move into fourth in the Super League table.

Siku Manu and Bureta Faraimo both scored twice to consign Castleford, last season’s league leaders, to their fourth defeat of the season.

Manu opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Paul McShane replied but three tries in 12 minutes from Jamie Shaul, Manu and Faraimo gave Hull a 20-6 lead at halftime.

Jake Connor added two more with the boot just after the restart before Calum Turner pulled a try back.

Faraimo scored his second of the game, though, with 16 minutes remaining to secure the two points for Hull and Josh Griffin put the cherry on the top with a final try to finish the match.
