Cardiff Blues have won Group 2 of the European Rugby Challenge Cup with a game to spare after an 18-13 victory against Toulouse.

The teams went in level at the break as tries from Cheslin Kolbe and Tomos Williams cancelled each other out.

A 40th-minute Thomas Ramos drop goal made it 10-10 after Jarrod Evans’ penalty had given Cardiff the lead.

Another Ramos drop goal put Toulouse 13-10 up but Gareth Anscombe’s try on the hour mark put Cardiff up by two points.

The score stayed the same until the final minute, when another Evans penalty sealed the deal for the Blues.
