Norrie was first to break on the way to a 4-1 first-set lead but Baena hit back to level.

With Baena serving to stay in the set, Norrie came from 15-0 down to win the next four points and claim the opener.

Baena took the second set, though. First, he saved four break points before breaking to love to take a 2-1 lead.

Another break came in the seventh game of the set and, after seeing three set points saved, the Spaniard took the second set 6-2.

The 22-year-old was serving for the match but Baena broke to stay in the game.

Norrie then raced into a 0-40 lead, three match points, but Baena won five points in a row to make it 5-5.

Both players held serve to take the decider to a tiebreak, before Baena won the first six points to triumph 7-1

At the Istanbul Open, Dominic Inglot and Robert Lindstedt defeated fourth seeds Neal and Ken Skupski 7-6 6-3 to qualify for the semi-final.
