Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers will face each other in the Premier League Asia Trophy on Saturday after they beat West Ham United and Newcastle United.

The Premier League champions needed to come from behind after a Mark Noble penalty had given West Ham the lead.

David Silva levelled the score before Lukas Nmecha won and scored a penalty to give City the lead at half time.

Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane came off the bench at the start of the second half and combined to let the England international in to add a fourth.

Steve Bruce watched his Newcastle side fall to a heavy defeat just hours after being announced as manager.

Diogo Jota scored twice in the first half, either side of a Morgan Gibbs-White goal from the edge of the penalty area.

Newcastle youngster Thomas Allan then headed into his own net late on to complete the scoring.
