Super League: Hull KR, Widnes Vikings win in Qualifiers

Hull KR have increased their chances of returning to the Super League after a 35-30 win over London Broncos.

The team have now won all three of their Qualifiers to join Warrington Wolves as the only teams with a 100% record.

Tries from Danny Addy, Kieren Moss, Rob Mulhern and Ryan Shaw gave Hull KR a convincing 25-8 half-time lead.

Andy Ackers, James Cunningham, Alex Walker, Mark Ioane and Elliot Kear crossed for Broncos in the second half but Shaw’s second try of the match kept Hull KR in the lead.

Widnes Vikings have also strengthened their position in the top four.

They scored 11 tries on the way to a 58-10 thrashing of Featherstone Rovers.

Chris Bridge and Rhys Hanbury scored a hat-trick while Charly Runciman and Stefan Marsh both scored twice.

Misi Taulapapa and James Lockwood crossed for Featherstone.

On Saturday, Warrington Wolves beat Halifax 22-8 thanks to tries from Peta Hiku, Chris Hill, Matty Russell and Andre Savelio.

Catalans Dragons are in real danger of relegation after a 30-6 loss against Leigh Centurions.

Adam Higson and Cory Paterson scored two tries each with Josh Drinkwater adding a fifth in the second half.
