Ospreys have exited the European Rugby Champions Cup after losing 24-7 to Clermont Auvergne in the final group-stage game.

Saracens win against Northampton Saints saw the English club leapfrog Ospreys into second place in the group.

Nick Abendanon scored the first Clermont try after 25 minutes, and two Morgan Parra penalties gave the Top 14 side a 13-0 lead at halftime.

Ashley Beck replied for Ospreys but three points each from Parra and Greig Laidlaw, as well as a late Luke McAlister try sealed the victory for Clermont.
